For more than five years the Senior SAFE program has supported local fire educators in delivering fire safety education to seniors. The senior population is the most vulnerable and at risk of dying in fires.
The Berkley Senior SAFE Team has partnered with the Berkley Council On Aging and uses the resources obtained though grants to visit older adults in there homes and provide safety education and strategies on how to survive a fire.
